From 7-13 April 2025 ROOTS Exhibition will be presenting a brand new installation “The Last Supper, From a Different Perspective” during Milano Design Week. As a participant of Masterly- the Dutch our 'home base' will again be the beautifull Palazzo Giureconsulti in the city heart of Milano, next to the iconic Duomo.
We bring an urgent ecological message, but also a hopeful statement by engaging our audience in our story about what Mother Earth has been giving us all along. We therefore collaborate with established Dutch Artists and Desingers that want to make an impactfull handprint together by showing the beauty we gain (literally )from our Dutch Soil. We show the latest Research, Developments and Techniques that contribute to a nature inclusive and circular future.
For our installation, we still have two spots available for Dutch biobased companies that want to make a difference as well as a relevant contribution to our mutual ecological handprint. You will be part of our collective with established Dutch Artists and Designers to present your latest material, product and/or research. Not by 'showing samples', but by being part of our installation through estetic Dutch Design. It is therefore possible that we connect your material to a Dutch (top) designer as part of the exhibition.
As Masterly- the Dutch is an official Dutch trade mission, you will have plenty of opportunity to connect to international businesses, manufacturers and diplomatic channels. Next to the powerful international network you will be part of during this week, prepare yourself for an exciting new experience. We will organise ROOTS-panel talks, make video broadcasts, have an overal impactful on-line presence and will welcome around 80.000 visitors in the Palazzo...
Your company must be Dutch, in start-up phase or a little further, not a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) and your entrepreneurship inspiring. You work either plant based, with a waste stream or both and your materials are pure (preferably from Dutch soil…).
